Finally at ease can I rest my heart,
For in this time I have found my other part.
Two halves of a whole are nestled in one,
Here come the butterflies, they flutter with fun.
I sit with a smile across my face,
And when I think of him my heart begins to race.
I love it when you stroke my arm,
Because I know that you mean me no harm.
Looking deep in your eyes makes everything feel right,
Because being with you makes love never out of sight.
I love the sound of your deep voice,
Because it reminds me that I made the right choice.
A true gentleman is what I asked for,
And with you I have been given so much more.
I’m glad that I have you as my boo,
And I want you to know that I’m always here for you.
